Pride Projects

I have a goal of working on one pride project a day throughout June. If you’ve been looking at my finished projects, you may have noticed that my identity under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella is very important to me.  I am nonbinary (“NB” or “enby”) and asexual (“ace”) so a lot of my personal items have that color scheme.  Like this sleeveless vest I made:

Transgender recognition is also important to me. As a NB person, I fall under the trans umbrella, but not only that, I have a lot of transgender friends who deserve to be proud of who they are.  With that in mind, I’ve been working on designing a shirt in transgender flag colors.  This yarn came from Joann Fabric and I’m hoping that Michaels picks it up now that JF is closed.

I still have one skein left of this yarn to finish the shirt.  It will be as long as the yarn I have for it, so I have no idea if it will be a crop top or a regular length shirt, lol!
